What is Phytoplankton?

Phytoplankton are microscopic marine plants that form the foundation of the ocean's food chain. These plants are the origin source of an abundance of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other essential elements for life.

Phytoplankton is a microscopic plant found in oceans around the world. It feeds the entire aquatic food web and is created with just oxygen, sunlight and Co2.

    PRODUCE MORE OXYGEN

Phytoplankton produces over 50% of Earth’s oxygen through photosynthesis, more than all of the rainforests and trees.

    DIVERSE PLANTS

There are over 20,000 different strains of phytoplankton, each with unique properties. We have identified two for their health benefits to humans.

Phytoplankton is not only packed with essential nutrients, it is so microscopic that it supports cellular health and energy unlike any other natural food.

Microchloropsis Gaditana

Microchloropsis Gaditana is also known as Nannochloropsis Gaditana. This nutrient-dense strain of phytoplankton is packed with essential fatty acids, antioxidants, amino acids, and vitamins. It is highly bioavailable, meaning it’s easily absorbed by the body, making it an ideal source of cellular nourishment and mitochondrial support.

TetraSOD

TetraSOD is a strain of phytoplankton known for its high concentration of superoxide dismutase (SOD), a powerful antioxidant enzyme. SOD supports cellular protection, combats oxidative stress, and aids in reducing inflammation, promoting longevity and resilience at the cellular level. Ideal for those seeking enhanced immune support, anti-aging benefits, and optimal performance.

Common Questions

These are the most common questions we have regarding our phytoplankton. If you have questions, please reach out to customer service.

How long should I take phytoplankton?

This is a life-long wellness asset for you and your family to take daily for life.

What is phytoplankton for?

The philosophy is simple. If you are experiencing a health issue rooted in malnourishment, then by absorbing pure nutrition directly into the cell the body could heal itself. The most notable improvements have been digestive disorders, fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, chronic fatigue, sleeping issues, erectile dysfunction, acne, and eczema.
We understand this is broad, but nutrition is broad, and again, if the cause is nutritional, then it’s logical that nutrition is the solution.

Has there been adverse reactions or allergens?

No. Phytoplankton is free of allergens. People with shellfish allergies can have phytoplankton. The only complaint we have had from customers is that in rare occasions there is some digestive disruptions which in most cases are an increase in bowel movements which can cause concern. This usually subsides in a week, and we consider this a detoxification.

Are there any concerns with toxins or heavy metals found in the ocean?

Absolutely not. We use real Atlantic Ocean water and military-grade filtration, which takes out anything and the result is the cleanest, greenest form of pure nutrition on the market.

Can I take phytoplankton if I am a professional athlete?

Yes! This is food. It is not a controlled substance. We have many customers who are professional athletes. Also, there is research behind helping muscle recovery.

Clinical trial: Effects of TetraSOD® as food supplement in athletes:

Study shows: Supplementation with TetraSOD® provoked the main following effects:

  • Decrease in fat body mass (-8,8%)
  • Improvement in performance during the effort stress test
  • HEART RATE ANAEROBIC THRESHOLD: Significant decrease in heart rate during activity (-3,6%)
  • HEART RATE RECOVERY PHASE: Significant decrease in heart rate 3-min post activity (-4,2%)
  • HAEMOGLOBIN O2 CARRYING CAPACITY: Significant increase in haemoglobin levels (+4,9)
  • Effect against oxidative stress
  • VITAMIN E LEVELS: Significant increase in vitamin E levels (+13,4%)

Are there studies on humans taking phytoplankton?

Yes, please see the Science and Company Overview document on the website. There are thousands of studies on it at the National Library of Medicine at https://pubmed.gov
